Radhe shoot stops due to coronavirus, but Salman Khan deposits money in crew members’ accounts

MUMBAI: Since the spread of coronavirus in half of the world countries, many events have been either called off or postponed. The COVID-19 has also affected Bollywood as many movies which were slated to release this year have gone in the waiting list now. Shootings have been cancelled due to the lockdown situation in the country. Salman Khan’s movie Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was about to complete when the virus hit India and eventually, the makers had to cancel shoot.

All the crew of movie was asked to stay at their homes until the situation normalizes. However, in a bid to ease things for them, the Wanted actor has reportedly deposited money into the accounts of crew members.

Make-up artist Subhash Kapoor confirmed it saying that Salman Khan helped everyone in tough times.

“What a great thing to do! I thank Salman sir from the bottom of my heart. Times are so tough,” Subhash said.

Salman Bhai also announced financial support for daily wage artistes of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) who have been affected due to this lockdown situation in the country, he added.

The same was confirmed by FWICE president B.N Tiwari

“After we approached Salman Khan, he asked us to give him a count of the most affected workers from our association. We told him there were 25,000 such artistes. He decided to contribute for them. We will be sending him the list,” he said.
