Ramazan Bazaars set up all over Punjab

LAHORE: With the collaboration of provincial industries dept, trade associations & Utility Stores Corporation (USC), the provincial govt. attempts to provide commodities at subsidized rates at Ramazan bazaars.
Under the Ramazan Package-2019, a total of 309 Ramazan bazaars have been set up across the province. Control rooms have also been made functional for monitoring the arrangements and keeping an eye on quality, quantity, and prices.
CM Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed the provincial ministers, advisors, special assistants and departmental secretaries to monitor Ramazan bazaars and take strict action against profiteers.
Provincial Minister for Industries & Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal visited various Ramazan bazaars on today.
According to the Police Department, a total of 12 SPs, 35 DSPs,
84 inspectors, 257 upper subordinates, 60 lady constables and 3,000 police jawan were performing duties to ensure foolproof security at Ramazan bazaars and at mosques for taravee in the provincial capital.
