KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers Sindh killed three suspected terrorists in an encounter on Super Highway on Tuesday.
Moving on a tip off regarding presence of suspects in the premises of Super Highway, the Rangers carried out a search operation. The terrorists opened fire on the security officials, leaving one of them injured.
Three terrorists have been killed while one of them managed to flee away when the troops returned fire.
A spokesman for the Rangers said the terrorists belonging to a banned outfit were involved in targeted killings, kidnappings for ranson, attacks on police and the officials of the paramilitary force.
The killed terrorists have been identified as Shamsheer Khan, Ataullah alias Daud Pathan and Zaheer alias Zafeer Pathan. Daud Pathan was involved in Safoora carnage.
