KARACHI: After five year-long trial, cross examination of sixty witnesses and recording of five eyewitnesses’ testimonies, former SSP Malir Rao Anwar and others have been acquitted by an ATC here on Monday (23rd of Jan 2023) in the murder case of Naqeebullah Mehsud.
The ATC, that had reserved the verdict on 14th of January, 2023 noted that prosecution failed to prove that Rao Anwar and Co murdered Naqeebullah Mehsud on 13th day of January, 2018.
Naqeebullah Mehsud’s family is all set to go to HC in order to appeal the ATC’s verdict.
