ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul on Tuesday said reshuffling in cabinet was the bold decision of the Prime Minister Imran Khan for the better performances of all working institutions in the larger interest of the country.
In an interview, she termed the move of Prime minister as a “positive bold step,” keeping in view the present situation.
It was the first time in the history of Pakistan that a Prime Minister has reshuffled his own cabinet on performances without fearing criticism of the opposition parties.
“A good captain is always looking towards his team to perform better and is constantly monitoring their performance because his sole purpose is to ensure team’s victory,” she added.
Appreciating the performance of Asad Umar, she said, he being a finance minister did his job well.
Imran Khan not believed in personal likes and dislikes, she said adding, Imran Khan wanted his team to deliver best in Naya Pakistan according to the vision of PTI government.
Replying a Question , she said former finance minister Asad Umar remained a part of our federal cabinet and hopefully they would see him in any other ministry of the government as Asad Umar had strived hard.
She said Bilawal was criticizing government and recent economic situation, but he should reveal money laundering of his party members instead of finger pointing towards government.
Replying to another question, she said PTI has not any separate group in the party and they all were working unitedly under the dynamic leadership of Imran Khan.
No country could progress amid corrupt rulers, she remarked.
She said PML-N former minister of finance Ishaq Dar was responsible of the current economic crises.
