ISLAMABAD: A countrywide crackdown has been initiated by the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) against pharma companies who had recently augmented the prices of products illegally.
DRAP spokesperson, while talking to NPTV, told that the authority had commenced the crackdown on the directives of Minister for Health Aamir Kiani.
According to sources, DRAP had seized 143 medicines which were being sold at high prices. Authority has also stopped such companies from manufacturing drugs.
