S. Arabia congratulates President-elect Joe Biden

RIYADH: Due to Republican Trump’s close personal ties with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, S. Arabia was bewildered apropos congratulating Democratic President-elect Joe Biden. Finally the message of felicitations emerged 24 hours after the announcement of US election results.

It is pertinent to mention here that veteran politician Joe Biden, during his election campaign, had pledged to reassess terms with KSA and demanded accountability over the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi at Istanbul consulate general in Riyadh.

Interestingly, the de fecto ruler of S. Arabia deemed it fit to send warm words to the president of Tanzania on his re-election, ignoring the development in the USA.
