RAWALPINDI: The 130-member Saudi delegation led by Minister of Investment Khalid Bin Abdulaziz al Falih called on COAS General Syed Asim Munir here on Thursday (10th October, 2024).
Saudi delegation and COAS exchanged notes apropos initiatives to strengthen ever-growing brotherly bilateral cooperation in a variety of sectors.
COAS, pointing towards continuous support from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, expressed his deep gratitude.
General Syed Asim Munir noted that visit of one of the largest business delegation’s visit to Pakistan reaffirms the fraternal terms between Pakistan and KSA.
He maintained that the rendezvous between the delegation and the businesses here would benefit Pakistan as well as KSA.
Separately, in a meeting with the President, Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih said that his country not only recognized Pakistan’s potential of natural resources and renewable energy but also its strategic geographical significance.
Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih reiterated KSA’s plans to invest in the infrastructure and mining sectors of Pakistan.
The delegation is expected to sign 25 agreements contributing towards ameliorating economic cooperation between KSA and Pakistan.
Both sides emphasized to augment collaboration in the areas of Agriculture and Information Technology.
