SC judge says Imran more cooperative than Nawaz!

ISLAMABAD: A Supreme Court judge here has said yesterday (23rd of October) that PTI leaders Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen were more cooperative as compared to deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

The SC judge maintained defendants in Panama Papers case had not been forthcoming as a result JIT was formed to establish the facts. On the contrary, he held Khan and Tareen were readily submitting relevant documents to the court.

The statement came during the hearing of the plea filed by Hanif Abbasi of PML-N looking for the ineligibility of Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen.

Senior Counsel added Muhammad Akram Shaikh added:  “A perception is being created that the court is providing opportunities to the other side to come up with more documents, even though the case has been closed now”.
