ISLAMABAD: The much-awaited verdict in the Panama Leaks issue will set an example which will be remembered for centuries.
This was stated by a Supreme Court Judge who also claimed that the apex court’s verdict in the case will be a ‘law’.
“Our pronouncement on the Panama issue will be a law which will be endured for centuries,” Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan said in his remarks during a hearing on Tuesday.
Justice Khan’s remarks came in response to a statement made by Khawaja Ahmad Hassan, the counsel for respondents – civil society members. During the hearing, Hassan affirmed that the Panama case verdict could not be objected for 20 years.
