SC to hear ref. apropos open ballot Senate polls on Mon

ISLAMABAD: SC has constituted a 5-judge larger bench seeking the court’s opinion on ‘open ballot’ for Senate elections.

Said bench, that will commence hearing from 8th of Feb, will be headed by CJP Gulzar Ahmed. Other members include Justice Mushir Alam, Justice Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan and Justice Yahya Afridi.

Dr. Arif Alvi, who promulgated the ordinance will be represented by Attorney General Khalid Jawed Khan.
