Scotland Yard arrests MQM founder in London

LONDON: The New Scotland Yard has today arrested Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain over hate speech delivered in 2016.

According to reports, Hussain was arrested this morning during a raid by the London police accompanied by the Scotland Yard on his house.

MQM founder is being investigated over hate speech which he delivered in 2016 against Pakistan and the institutions.

Hussain, 60, was arrested from his home in north west London. According to Scotland Yard, he was arrested on suspicion of intentionally encouraging or assisting offences contrary to Section 44 of the Serious Crime Act 2007.
