Selected can’t raise their voice against terrorists: Bilawal

PESHAWAR: Chairman PPP-P Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while addressing a public gathering, organised by PDM has said that ‘selected’ government could not raise its voice against terrorists. Bilawal Bhutto at Peshawar RallyDeciphering his statement he said that Terrorists responsible for APS Peshawar attack were given NRO by PTI-led government: “It is because of democracy and democratic government that the flag of Pakistan is hoisted in North Waziristan,” he held

He went on to add: “We will not allow the current government’s support to terrorists whose hands are red with the blood of the innocent.”

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari vowed that January would be the PTI govt.’s last month in power.

Pointing towards the Fata’s merger with  KP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari maintained: “Today, Fata has been merged with KP on paper but its people are not being given their rights. Even now areas in erstwhile Fata are off-limits.

“There are still legal black holes, there are still internment centers. Late Peshawar High Court chief justice Waqar Seth had ruled that internment centers should be handed over to the police but sadly we never saw that happen.”

PML-N’s VP Maryam Nawaz briefly appeared on the stage and apologizing that she would not be able to address them, asked for prayers for her grandmother who expired this morning.

Chief of JUI-F Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman pointing towards the crowd held it manifested that people had refused the govt. “which came into power through rigged election”.

Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman maintained that the large number of people that showed up was the referendum against incumbent rulers.

Commenting on the armed forces Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman said: “We respect our armed forces as a defense institution, but if it tries to become a political institution then we have every right to criticize it.

“We give you a deadline to withdraw your support of the PTI-led government and focus on your professional responsibilities….

“Our stance is very clear. Rigging has been done, we know who was behind it and the one who is na maloom (unknown), we all know who that is!”

Maulana, like Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, also criticized the merger of Fata with KP ‘in a hurry’: “I know under whose pressure it was done.” 

He said Imran Khan was shedding crocodile tears “after selling Kashmir”. Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman went on to compare Imran Khan’s fate with that of Donald Trump and said God Willing people of this country would reject Imran Khan.

Conspicuous among others there were Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Aimal Wali Khan, Sardar Akhtar Mengal and Aftab Sherpao on the stage.
