ISLAMABAD: CJP Qazi Faez Isa, maintaining that imports of a Mercedes Benz and a Toyota Land Cruiser to be used by a a constitutional and public office holder like him was an inappropriate splurge of scarce public resources, ordered auction of the vehicles.

CJP has directed that the proceeds from the sale should be utilized for much-needed public transport.
