Senator Siraj-ul-Haq leads Azadi-e-Kashmir March in Karachi

KARACHI: In order to express solidarity with Kashmiris, Amir of Jama’at-e-Islami Senator Siraj-ul-Haq led the Azadi-e-Kashmir March here today at Sharah-e-Faisal in which a large number of men, women and children participated. 

Despite heavy rain the marchers offered Namaz-e-Zuhr on the road and stayed on to listen to their Amir.

Speaking on the occasion Siraj-ul-Haq said that the war of Kashmir could not be fought on Facebook or Twitter and people will have to go beyond Social Media in order to liberate Kashmir that is a matter of life or death for Pakistanis.

Pointing towards the Indian atrocities Senator said that the movement against occupation forces would continue till the liberation of Kashmir.

Asserting that the objective of the movement was not seek repealing of the Article 370 but liberation of Kashmir, he asked the government to act as Tipu Sultan who  fought till death saying that one day of a lion is better than a hundred years of a jackal.
