ISLAMABAD: Former skipper Ramiz Raja is confident that the upcoming series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka is ideal for green shirts to gain confidence and prove themselves.
Sarfaraz XI will be playing against Sri Lanka will play three one-day internationals (ODIs) and as many Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) in Karachi and Lahore.
“This is the best chance for Pakistani team to showcase their true skills and gain confidence that our boys lack. Green shirts should prove themselves and tell the entire cricket world that Sri Lanka is playing against the best team,” Raja said during an interview.
Sindh Rangers deployed at National Stadium ahead of Pak vs. SL series
Finalising the security arrangements ahead of Pakistan versus Sri Lanka series, Sindh Rangers have taken control of National Stadium.
Search dogs and special equipments are being used for the stadium’s clearance. Ground, dressing room, chairman box, VIP and general enclosures have been finalized.
According to details, Pakistan team will conduct practice session at the National Stadium tomorrow (Tuesday). The Islanders are also scheduled to arrive in the metropolis tomorrow.
