KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Saturday left for Dubai to meet former president and Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari.
According to details, Sindh CM will brief Zardari about the performance of his cabinet, the political situation of the country and possible reshuffle in the top provincial bureaucracy.
Shah will also meet other party leaders presently staying in Dubai.
Earlier, Murad Ali Shah presided over a meeting to review the progress in mining operation at Thar coalfield by Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company.
Addressing the meeting, he said that steps are being taken to generate electricity based on coal-fired power plants.
Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company has started work in Thar Coal Filed Block-II to install a coal-fired Power Plant that will generate 660 MW electricity by 2019.
The Chief Minister directed that maximum locals be provided jobs in the company.
