SHC shows ‘green signal’ to Ayyan Ali to fly abroad

KARACHI: ‘Dollar Girl’ Ayan Ali has again been permitted to fly abroad after her name struck off from Exit Control List (ECL).

According to media reports, the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday directed the authorities to remove Ayyan’s name from the ECL and allowed her to fly to Dubai.

The SHC also forwarded the copy of Ayyan’s plea and the notification of the court to the federal Interior Ministry and directed the ministry to lift the travel ban.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) has already allowed Ayyan Ali to fly abroad. Ayyan’s name was placed on ECL as part of investigations into the recovery of $500,000 from her possession at Rawalpindi airport on March 14, 2015.
