ISLAMABAD: United Nations Resident Coordinator in Pakistan, Neil Buhne called on the Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen M Mazari here today.
They discussed matters related to the promotion and protection of human rights in Pakistan and to extend the mutual cooperation in this regard.
The Minister on this occasion highlighted the steps underway for ensuring the protection of human rights in Pakistan and said all out efforts are being made to ensure the promotion and protection of human rights at every level.
Neil Buhne, UN Representative appreciated the endeavors of Government of Pakistan for the promotion and protection of human rights including the rights of women, children, and minorities in the country and assured his full support in this regard.
