Sindh CM claims LEAs busted three groups involved in Karachi police killings

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has claimed that the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) have busted three terrorist groups involved in the killing of seven policemen in the city.

Addressing the Defence Day ceremony at Pakistan Air Force Masroor Base today, Shah said that the provincial government was making efforts to eliminate organised terrorism and crime in the city.

He also praised the efforts of the security agencies for conducting successful operations against terrorists.

“We have destroyed them [terrorist groups] to a considerable extent but there is still a lot of work to be done,” he added.

The Sindh CM was of the view that the evolving security environment has considerably altered the threat scenario for the beloved homeland.

It is permanent to mention here that at least 7 policemen have been killed in attacks in the metropolis since June.
