Sindh CM, Rangers DG discuss law and order




KARACHI: Director General (DG) Sindh Rangers, Major General Bilal Akbar called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at CM House on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the two exchanged views on targeted operation against terrorists and over all law and order situation in the province.

Sindh CM Syed Murad Ali Shah said that targeted operation in Karachi will continue in more effective manner. He also directed DG Rangers to step up the ongoing operation against terrorists in Karachi.

CM Sindh assured all possible support to Rangers in rooting out criminals.

He said the operation would continue “indiscriminately” against the criminals and militant wings.

On the occasion, Major Bilal Akbar briefed Shah on steps taken against criminals and terrorists in Karachi during the Karachi operation.

Earlier, DG Rangers visited Sindh High Court and held meeting with leaders of the legal fraternity.

He also offered condolences with the lawyers over the death of their colleagues in Quetta carnage.
