Sindh: From 6th Sept all pupils of class IX to XII will be vaccinated

KARACHI: The Health and Population Welfare Department of Sindh has taken to the Twitter on Monday 30th of August, to inform that Minister for Health & Population Welfare, Dr. Azra Pechuho had chaired a meeting with Minister of Education, Sardar Shah & the meeting detailed plans to vaccinate school children from grades 9 to 12 & targets approximately 1.4 million students. 

According to details the Govt of Sindh has decided to vaccinate all the 1.42 million students studying in class IX till XII in all the private as well as public schools and colleges of the Province from 6th day of September. Some 2527 teams have been assigned the job of executing the inoculation program.

Minister for Health & Population Welfare Dr. Azra Pechuho has directed the schools’ administrations to take the consent of parents for vaccinating children at educational institutions. The Health and Population Welfare Department of Sindh said that all necessary arrangements will be completed before Monday 6th day of September.
