Six Policemen killed in Kohat and Karachi: TTP Jamaatul Ahrar claims responsibility

KOHAT/KARACHI: Unidentified gunmen have killed four policemen in Kohat and two in Karachi on Saturday (20th of May).

Those killed in Kohat included  SHO Khanullah, additional SHO Tahir Khan, Head Constable Tanveer and Constable Abid Khan.

In Karachi assailants riding motorcycles opened fire using two kinds of weapons (9 mm and 30 bore) at a Police van belonging to New Town Police Station.

ASI Iftikhar and Head Constable Raja Younus died after receiving bullet injuries on their head. Their bodies have been taken to Civil Hospital.

Situation of the third personnel named Shahanshah is also critical. He too was shot at  head. 

People residing in Dhoraji area, where the incident took place, told that the same  mobile – that came under attack – remained deployed at the very spot for the last couple of years.
