Social media on blast after Afridi’s ‘love comments’ for India

LAHORE: Pakistan Twenty20 skipper Shahid Khan Afridi left his fans in anger after his ‘love comments’ for India.

In his media briefing, Afridi said: “We got a lot of love here, we did not get this much love even in Pakistan, I can tell you. We always enjoyed playing in India.”

His fans on social media were on blast and showed anger over him. Some of his fans were tweeting against his remarks while some were defending their favourite star. Take a look here:

Afridi, over his remarks, has been served legal notice. The legal notice has been served by a local advocate from Lahore.

According to the notice, the remarks made by Afridi were against the interest of Pakistan, therefore, he should apologize to nation and withdraw his statement.
