Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Neerja’ rules box office on day one

MUMBAI: Sonam Kapoor starrer, Neerja which clashed with three other Bollywood  films Loveshhuda, Ishq Forever, and Direct Ishq has opened to  rave reviews from both the critics and the audiences.

The real-life story of late Neerja Bhanot and Sonam Kapoor’s performance as Neerja seems to have impressed the viewers as the film gathered a collection of Rs. 4.70 cr. on day one at Indian box office.

Neerja is  backed up by strong content and good word of mouth from the people.

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to twitter to share the numbers of the box office collections.

Ram Madhvani directorial, Neerja released worldwide on February 19. The flick also stars veteran Bollywood actor Shabana Azmi.
