“Our streets are still unsafe”: Kriti Sanon delivers powerful Women’s Day message

MUMBAI: February 8 around the world is considered to be a special day for females on account of Women’s Day. On this day, the world honors females for their contribution to societies around the world and for playing their part in making the world a better place. Issues related to women such as female empowerment, feminism and equal opportunities for females, are discussed at length around the world.

On this Women’s Day, Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has come up with a powerful message for women all over the world as well as in India.

The Dilwale actress posted a video on social media in which she stood with multiple placards and one after the other, shows her message on Women’s Day.

“We will hear a lot of words today. Girl power, women’s rights,” read her message. “Blah. Blah. Blah. Meanwhile, our streets remain unsafe.”

The video ends with Sanon throwing away the last two placards:-

“All we do is talk. And I’m done talking.”
