KARACHI: Police has nabbed two hired killers on Saturday (25th of March, 2023) who shot religious scholar Sufi Abdul Qayyum dead in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar Area on 21st of March, 2023.

According to details there was no secretarian motive behind the murder of Sufi Abdul Qayyum.

Police revealed that the scholar was killed due to a property dispute by two hired hit-men who received Rs. 2.5 lakhs in advance and were supposed to get the remaining half following the murder.

The two motorcyclists (Ali Akbar aka Shahid and Tanveer) were traced by means of CCTV footages.

An unlicensed pistol and a motorcycle, used in the murder, were recovered from them.
