JAMRUD: When Additional SHO Adnan Afridi and his sub ordinates were chasing a group of terrorists here on Tuesday (25th of July, 2023), they attempted to take refuge inside a mosque.
But when the posse too entered the batiment one of the miscreants detonated, killing the officer and injuring many of his subordinates as well as innocent civilians.
Nevertheless, cops managed to capture one of the accomplices of the suicide bomber from the mosque.
In IBOs, carried out later, a suicide jacket was recovered and three terrorists were nabbed from Sultankhel and Nekkikhel, who are being interrogated at an undisclosed place.
