GENEVA: Governing Federal Council proclaiming that Burqa Ban will take effect on 1st day of January, 2025, warned that anyone covering face will have to pay a fine of $1144.
Women will be able to cover their faces in planes, places of worship and diplomatic enclaves.
It is pertinent to mention here that the same group that organised a ban on new minarets back in 1990.
