Sydney bank-worker held pinching clients’ money

SYDNEY: A bank employee here was held as he attempted to embezzle half a million Australian dollars from clients’ accounts.

Alarmed by a barrage of dubious transactions, bank summoned the police. An investigation led to the arrest of 34-year-old staffer in process of pinching money from clients’ accounts. 

The accused has been granted strict bail but he will  have to appear before Downing Center Local Court on May 5 to face fraud charges.
