Terrorists planned to target Sindh Assembly?

KARACHI: According to sources, the terrorists who were nabbed on Monday by CTD from Shah Latif Town here, were set to attack Sindh Assembly.

Data extracted from cellphone of an arrested terrorist by the LEAs forensic experts revealed that a gun and suicide bomb attack was planned. Cache of arms and ammunition along with a rickshaw fit with explosives was also recovered during the raid.

According to details a video clip found in the militant’s mobile also confirms that they had been planning to attach Sindh Assembly Building. It has further been learnt that three miscreants who were brought to Karachi from Kandahar and one from Nangarhar, were in constant touch with their Afghanistan-based handler.
