Three killed in encounter near Northern Bypass: Police

KARACHI: Three terrorists have been killed in police encounter in the outskirts of the city late Thursday night, police said.

SSP Malir Rao Anwar claimed that, on a tip off about presence of some suspects, they raided a house near Northern Bypass.

“When the police raided the house, terrorists opened fire and, in returned fire, three among four killed,” said Anwar.

However, he says, one suspect managed to flee.

“The four belonged to banned outfit of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Arms have been recovered from the house,” he added.
