CALIFORNIA: Hollywood actor Tom Hanks landed at the Los Angeles Airport this morning with wife Rita Wilson after the couple recovered from coronavirus. Hanks and Rita were in Australia for a film shoot when they tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) and shifted to isolation ward.
Hanks took to his official Instagram handle on March 11 to announce the dreadful news to his fans and followers. He stated in an Instagram post that he and his wife were feeling unwell during their stay in Australia and, after undergoing few tests, they were tested positive for Coronavirus.
“Hello, folks. Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive.
Well, now. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no?
We’ll keep the world posted and updated.
Take care of yourselves!
Hanx!”
The Cast Away actor had announced that they will be staying in quarantine till they both test negative. Seems the power couple has successfully recovered from the pandemic and came back to their hometown L.A via a private jet from Australia. Hanks announced their comeback on his social media account.
“Hey, folks. Two weeks after our first symptoms and we feel better,” the actor wrote.
According to reports, Hanks and Rita are now safe and healthy and will be spending their time at home. As per the California rule, the couple would have to remain home-bound and won’t be able to leave their home till the authorities allow them.
