LAKKI MARWAT (Bannu): A dozen unknown gunmen opened fire on a vehicle in Shah Mohammad Kallay Narmikhel area in the limits of Janikhel police station here Tuesday (19th Nov, 2024) killing a tribal elder identified as Malik Shodikhel, Ajab Khan, Ajmal Khan and 50-year-old Syeddana Bibi.

Four other occupants of the vehicle who got injured were identified as 5-year-old Baitullah, his 28-year-old daughter-in-law Musadiqa Bibi, 6-year-old son Salim Ahmad, and 7-year-old grandson Mohammad Yaseen. The bodies and wounded were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital.

The affected family claimed that they had no enmity and the shooting incident was part of the terrorism activities being carried out by militants in Bannu.
