S. WAZIRISTAN: Two factions of banned militant outfit TTP clashed here on Saturday (19th October, 2024).

According to details a local commander identified as Niaz Wazir aka Umar and three of his associates lost their lives in the exchange of fire with the warriors of Commander Minhaj Butt who entered Pakistan recently from Afghanistan.

Although his motives are not known, it was Commander Minhaj Butt who had earlier ordered Fazal Sirki Khel Wazir to kill Niaz Wazir.
