RAWALPINDI: Commander Turkish Land Forces, General Selcuk Bayraktaroglu called on COAS General Asim Munir here at General Headquarters on Monday (29th April, 2024) and appreciated the role of Pakistan Army in ensuring peace and stability in the region.

The duo exchanged notes apropos bilateral defense cooperation and regional state of affairs while pointing towards profoundly rooted racines based on historic, cultural and religious similarity.

On arrival at GHQ earlier, the Commander Turkish Land Forces, laid wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented the guard of honor to the visiting dignitary.
