SAHIWAL:  According to ISPR two ‘terrorists’, Obaidullah and Sohail, who were tried by military court, have been hanged here on Thursday morning.

They were sentenced on April 7  and August 15 respectively last year. Their Black Warrants were signed a couple of days ago by the COAS.

Obaidullah, a member of Harkatul Jehad-i-Islami, was involved in killing of two soldiers. Sohail, a member of TTP, was involved in an attack due to which a number of soldiers were injured.

Suicide jackets and explosives were recovered from both of them.

Sohail also helped the Bannu jail invaders.

It is pertinent to mention here that military courts were set up after the massacre at APS. The Supreme Court too upheld its creation.
