NEW DELHI: Indian External Affairs Ministry has revealed that UAE will bestow upon PM Narendra Modi the Emirates’ highest civilian award Order of Zayed during his official visit to the Gulf State.
Modi’s three day tour of UAE and Bahrain will commence on 23rd of August. He is scheduled to launch the renovation of a temple of Shreenathji in Bahrain.
Indian External Ministry statement held that: “The order in the name of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founding father of the UAE, acquires special significance as it is awarded to Prime Minister Modi in the year of the birth centenary of Sheikh Zayed.”
