Ulema support the declaration apropos triple talaq!

Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) while informing about the council’s decision today held that it supported the declaration apropos 2-talaq.

According to details giving three talaqs at one time has been declared as a punishable offense.

The Ulema of the Council are expected to soon consult other scholars to suggest a proper punishment in such cases.
