UN Chief asks for global ceasefire to combat COVID-19

MANHATTAN: UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has again called for a global ceasefire, urging all parties to conflict to lay down arms in order to effectively contain the mysterious malady caused by COVID-19.

Secretary General stated that Coronavirus had manifested  how swiftly it can move across borders and claim lives.

Antonio Guterres stressed on strong diplomatic endeavors to successfully combat the deadly Coronavirus.

UN SG appealed developed countries and multilateral institutions support the developing nations in this time of crisis.
