Unidentified armed men shot DSP down, injured SI

QUETTA: Unidentified armed men opened fire on the vehicle carrying DSP Umer-ur-Rehman and SI Bilal Shams here near District Jail Quetta in Haddah area on the evening of Monday, 29th of May. 

DSP died while SI sustained injuries. The assailants on a bike fled away.  

According to sources DSP Umer and SI Shams were brother and son of DSP Shams-ur-Rehman who died in the 8 August, 2013 suicide bombing that took place in the police line here.
