Unidentified assailants killed Kurram Agency Political Secretary

KURRAM AGENCY: Unidentified assailants have shot political secretary Sarfraz Hussain and his guard dead here today. 

Their vehicle was ambushed when they were travelling in Walicheena area here. 

Bodies were shifted to the HQ Hospital here.

Van carrying census workers attacked in Kurram agency, 10 killed

PARACHINAR: A remote-controlled roadside bomb targeting a passenger van killed at least 10 people and wounded several others in Kurram Agency on Tuesday, police said.

According to police, the militants planted a roadside bomb in Kurram Agency, close to the Afghanistan border.

“The vehicle was on its way from Godar to Sadda, Parachinar when it was hit by a remote-controlled bomb, killing at least ten and injuring two census workers on board,” said an official.

The injured were taken to a local hospital.

Pakistan army’s military wing said that a special military MI-17 helicopter has been sent to Parachinar to bring the injured to Peshawar for treatment.
