WASHINGTON: State Dept spokesperson Matthew Miller, during a Presser held here on Wednesday (27th March, 2024) stated that US did not support Pak-Iran Gas Pipeline Project.
“We always advise everyone that doing business with Iran runs the risk of touching upon and coming in contact with our sanctions, and would advise everyone to consider that very carefully.”
It may be recalled that earlier Assistant Secretary Donald Lu too held that the US was not in favor of Pakistan starting work on the pipeline with Iran.
