ISLAMABAD: US Envoy Donald Blome called on the Federal Minister for Petroleum, Dr. Musadik Malik here on Friday (22nd March, 2024).
The duo discussed technology transfer, investment opportunities, capacity-building initiatives in the energy sector, ways and means to promote a sustainable carbon-friendly footprint. Regional projects were also discussed during the rendezvous.
When Dr. Musadik Malik told him Pakistan’s vast potential in the minerals sector, Ambassador Blome informed the minister that a high-level economic dialogue was scheduled to be held in April in Washington, where energy-related matters, including minerals, would take center stage.
