US ‘locked and loaded’: Trump tells North Korea after threat

WASHINGTON: The United States is “locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely,” Donald Trump has told the defiant North Korea after Kim Jong Un announced that he was planning to attack the US base in Guam.

Trump tweeted: “Military solutions are now fully in place, locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely. “

North Korea has announced a detailed plan to launch a salvo of ballistic missiles toward the US Pacific territory of Guam, a major military hub and home to US bombers. If carried out, it would be its most provocative missile launch to date.

Trump also warned North Korea it should be “very, very nervous” of the consequences if it even thinks of attacking US soil, after Pyongyang said it was readying plans to launch missiles towards the Pacific territory of Guam.
