US needs to uphold good relations with Muslims: Marco Rubio

MEHWISH

MIAMI: Fiery eloquence of Marco Rubio during CNN Republic debate on Thursday manifested that he was all poised to stand against Trump’s Islamophobia. “The Presidents can’t just say anything they want. It has consequence here and around the world” Rubio stated.

Answering to Trump’s assumption that a lot of Muslims hate America, he said that Muslims were loyalists: “If you go anywhere in the world you are going to see American men and women serving us in uniform that are Muslims. Anyone willing to die for this country is someone who loves America –no matter what their religious background may be”.

Rubio as well as Cruz and Kasich asserted that US needed to uphold good relations with Muslim states in the Middle East to assist in the struggle against IS.
