US recognizes Kashmir as disputed territory: FM

ISLAMABAD: Expressing satisfaction that the spokesperson of Biden Admin had clarified that there had been no change in their policy on Kashmir dispute,  FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi pointed out that US recognized Kashmir as a disputed territory.

Informing that talks with UAE authorities  were continuing apropos the problems faced by the Pakistanis  working in Emirates, he held that the issue would be reslved soon in a cordial manner.

As regards the problems faced by Pakistani workers in the UAE, the Foreign Minister said our talks are continuing with the friendly country and expressed the confidence for a better outcome.

He reminded since the COVID-19 had affected the economies around the world including Gulf region,   there has been cut on jobs and the expatriate  had to goreturn to their countries.

He noted that the Naval Exercise Aman, involving navies of  was a big success for Pakistan. He said navies of different countries were participating in the drills.
