Virtual debate with Biden is a waste of time: Trump

WASHINGTON: Donald Trump has rejected the plans to hold next debate with Democratic rival Joe Biden virtually, saying that his microphone could be cut off.

Trump held: “I’m not going to waste my time on a virtual debate, that’s not what debating is all about…You sit behind a computer and do a debate – it’s ridiculous and then they cut you off whenever they want!”

It may be recalled that his first debate with Biden was held before Trump tested positive for the COVID-19. The virtual debate was suggested to minimize spread of the mysterious disease.
