We’ll have a peaceful transfer of power: Biden

WHITE HOUSE: President Joe Biden on Thursday (6th November, 2024) called Donald Trump to assure him that there would be a peaceful transfer of power on 20th January, 2025.

Asking fellow citoyens to lower political temperature after Donald Trump’s crushing election win over Kamala Harris, he stated: “Something I hope we can do, no matter who you voted for, is see each other not as adversaries but as fellow Americans. Bring down the temperature”.

Biden grasped at the opportunity to point towards Trump’s pre-poll doubts apropos transparency of elections. He maintained that the result of 2024 polls should lat to rest doubts about integrity of the US election system.

Trump is the second ever non-consecutive president of the US since 1893. Savants at the helm of affairs, while pointing towards his America First slogans, insinuate that US allies all over the world might again have to face his Isolationist Policies. And not to forget Trumps’ proclamations apropos imposition of sweeping (ten percent or more) import tariffs and containing the illegal immigration.

Strong ally of Netanyahu, Trump had been claiming, during election campaign if he was president, the Israel-Hamas war would not have commenced. And after winning the polls he said that his government, instead of beginning would stops wars. It is yet to be seen how he stops genocide that commenced after the attack by Hamas.
