Why Iran, Iraq and Syria not part of Saudi-led Alliance? Irani Envoy

MEHWISH

ISLAMABAD: Irani Envoy to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost while terming Saudi-led 34-state military alliance as ridiculous asked if Muslim powers were so serious in the war against terrorism why Iran, Iraq and Syria were excluded from the coalition.

Talking to the media here on Friday Honardoost insinuated that on one hand they were forming that union while on the other hand they were funding the terrorists and extremists.

Stressing that ISIS was becoming a serious peril for the entire Islamic world the Ambassador called for severe measures against militants.
